The two toughest footraces in the world:
- The Marathon des Sables in Morocco, Africa
- The Badwater Ultra in Death Valley, California, USA
I completed the MdS in 2001 and completed the Badwater in 2004.
They are absolutely physically and mentally difficult races:
The MdS I attempted several times with DNF however in 2001 I completed it – it is usually about 250 km long – 7 days self-sufficient race.
The Badwater is a non-stop 135 miles race.
