Tip 1

If you have never run a marathon and you would like to, look at some of those training guides in the running books that you can find at any running store.  Follow the guide line and be disciplined.  If you can’t do this regimentally, I find that I can get ready for a marathon by running approximately 1 to 1.5 hours a day, 5-6 days a week and then on longer run of about 20- 30 km. on the weekend. Then hold this for about 2- 3 months and you should be ready to endure and finish a marathon.
